Article from the influential business news and analysis site MorningNewsBeat.com, singling out Rosie's work in the Roundy's ad campaign:
Ad Review: Roundy’s Uses New Campaign To Promote Private Label
Too often, television commercials for supermarket chains feature either pretty pictures and/or hot prices, but don't take advantage of the opportunity to carve out a specific and unique image for the company, its people, and its products.
But Roundy’s delightful new commercial campaign, launched on television, radio and in print, uses its chairman, Bob Mariano, to create a distinct persona for the company and its own-label products.
In the ads, Mariano is cast as “Chairman Bob,” who travels to orange groves, potato chip factories and ice cream freezers to test and give his imprimatur to specific private label products. He’s accompanied by actors playing corporate toadies, attending to his every need as he relentlessly searches out the best products to sell in the company’s Pick 'n Save, Copps and Rainbow food stores. The music is great, the commercials are well-directed, and Mariano is absolutely terrific with tongue firmly in cheek as he parodies the image of the demanding CEO.
Even better, all the commercials can be seen online at www.meetchairmanbob.com, as well as interviews with Mariano as he talks about the campaign, and some pretty funny “outtakes.” (There is one hysterical “interview” with one of the corporate toadies, played by actress Rosie Tisch, who says she is in charge of food safety, and who grazes a cafeteria snack table, taking a nibble of cookies and crackers and then putting them back on the plates. Not sure if consumers will find it as funny as I did, but it is refreshing to see a campaign in which the company doesn't take itself too seriously. You can view the clip by clicking HERE)
Kudos to Roundy’s for commissioning this new campaign, and for simultaneously taking private label very seriously while being willing to poke fun at itself.
Article from the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel about Rosie Tisch's new ad campaign for Roundy's Supermarkets:
"Bob's on the Job: Ads Show Boss OKs Roundy's Food"
By Doris Hajewski

Roundy's Supermarkets Inc. Chairman Robert Mariano takes center stage in a new ad campaign that touts the quality of the chain's 2,500 private-label products. The "Meet Chairman Bob" ads, which the Kerker agency in Minneapolis created, started running Thursday on TV, radio and in print. The tongue-in-cheek spots combine a "Mission: Impossible" setting with a Donald Trump-like look for Mariano, but with a better haircut.
The campaign includes a Website and life-size, in-store graphics of Mariano and his "Bobtourage" (portrayed by actors Rosie Tisch, Robert Pierce, and Brennan Feonix).
One of the TV ads was shot in a California orange grove, where Mariano rides in a cherry-picker and passes judgment on individual oranges. In another spot, he and the entourage pay a surprise visit to a potato chip factory to test the quality of chips. In a third spot, Mariano dons a parka over his black suit and heads into a freezer to test ice cream.
The point of all this is to assure customers that nothing but the best gets past "Bob," who puts his signature on every one of the items that carries the Roundy's brand name. "It's personalizing the company," said David Bishop, a partner at Willard Bishop Consulting in Barrington, Ill. "We don't see many CEOs of grocery chains endorsing the products."
It's not unusual for executives of family-owned or family-controlled companies to appear in ads. William Clay Ford Jr., the late Sam Johnson and, more recently, son Fisk Johnson have appeared in ads aimed at demonstrating their personal concern for the products that their companies sell.
Bob Bourgeois, executive vice president at Meyer and Wallis, a Milwaukee ad agency that had the Roundy's account for about seven years until 2003, praised the new ads. "Bob's personality is such that this can work very well. He's got a lot of swagger in the industry," Bourgeois said.

Review of "Goldilocks and the Three Bears"
from The Los Angeles Times, August 6, 2007:
-
It was a joy to watch Rosie Tisch, as baby bear "Binky,"
completely lose herself in moments of frantic zaniness.
The tall, leggy Tisch displayed a natural gift for madcap comedy.

Review of “Goldilocks and the Three Bears”
from IndyMedia.org, July 30, 2007:
-
A particular standout (in the cast) is Rosie Tisch as
"Baby Bear." Tisch is strikingly attractive (even while
wearing giant bear feet and ears), but she also possesses
the skillful comic timing of a seasoned character actress.

Review of "Knuckleball"
from Back Stage West,November 23, 2005:
-
The best news in this production is the mesmerizing and courageous work of leads Mike Etzrodt and Rosie Tisch, two fine actors who deftly flesh out their characters, imbuing this edgy romance with honesty and emotional complexity.

Review of"Our Lady of the Shoulder of the Road”
from San DiegoPlaybill, November 18, 2001:
-
The star of the show is Rosie Tisch as the young Seraphina. Rosie seems to have a natural unearthly aura about her that makes it easy to believe she is communing with unseen spirits. But she can easily transition from spiritual mystic to awkward teenager arguing with her mother and struggling to make conversation with teenage boys.

Rosie Tisch is one who got away.
She broke into the San Diego modeling scene as a teenager and built up her skills with the help of Linda Comer, director of
San Diego Model Management (the city's biggest firm) and runway coach Jim Crawford. Tisch learned how to walk and how to pose. She started out doing small fashion shows and local magazines. Over the years, she established relation-ships with boutiques such as Cardiff's,
L.A. Fairchild, and bigger clients like Nordstrom.
But Tisch wanted to take it further.
After graduating from the
University of
Southern California with a theater degree, she decided to stay in
L.A. to pursue modeling and acting. Now Tisch is represented by agencies in San Diego,
Orange
County and
Los Angeles .
